Recently, Intel released the roadmap Fujitsu came to convince us once again that Intel plans to release first-E Sandy Bridge processor and compatible motherboard before the end of 2011.
This platform is registered as Roomly (code name for Intel LGA LGA 2011 and 1356) and Fujitsu expects to ship chipsets based boards Patsburg until the second quarter of 2014, Fujitsu motherboard, this will be called D3128-B and, according to VR-Zone, supports quad- 1333MHz DDR3 memory channels of eight DIMM sockets, allowing users to install up to 256GB.
This will be accompanied by a variety of PCI Express slots, including two genes 3 PCIe x16 slots, one PCIe x16 slot with four lanes from three genes bandwidth, a PCI Express x16 slot with four lanes 2 gene bandwidth and x8 slot with four lanes gene 3 bandwidth and two PCI slots.
In addition, the council also six SATA ports 6Gbps package, Intel Gigabit Ethernet, HD audio, 12 USB 2.0 ports and USB 2.0 internal port.
As we detailed earlier, Intel will release no less that four SKUs based chipset and controller Patsburg PCH will feature a simple design that is connected to the processor through the interface 2 DMI which provides four lanes of PCI Express 2.0 worth of bandwidth.
In addition to the launch date Patsburg, Fujitsu roadmap also reveals the fact that the current P67 and Q67 motherboard that supports Intel’s LGA 1155 processors (code-named Sandy Bridge) will retire in the first quarter of 2013
